My career in photography began as a photojournalist. I worked for the Coast Dispatch community newspaper, the Escondido Times Advocate and the San Diego Union Tribune. The news business gave me an insight to our San Diego community through a wide variety of assignments including the World Series, Super Bowl, politics, food, society and events . When the Union and Tribune merged I left the journalism world and opened a studio in Carlsbad doing both commercial and portrait photography. Portrait photography became my emphasis and I was fortunate to find an opening at Keane Studios five years ago.
Senior portrait photography has become a highlight in my 30 year professional career. Photography is defined by moments and I enjoy being part of this exciting time for our seniors and their families. Bill and Mary Keane have created a family atmosphere for our studio with an emphasis on quality, creativity and service to our clients. It is a great team to be on and I look forward to your visit.
